About me...

because that's what this page is about!

Professionally:

I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Andrews University in May of 2008.
After graduation, I worked for a year as a pre-press technician at LithoTech, a print shop on the campus of Andrews University.
Currently, I am teaching English to 6 year olds in South Korea.

My professional dreams include maybe getting my TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certification, possibly working for a humanitarian organization (such as ADRA, World Vision, Compassion etc.), starting my own freelance company, and writing books.

Personally:

I am a female introverted thinker and analyzer who is practically addicted to aquiring knowledge. This includes numerous "projects" commissioned by myself, teaching myself languages, and reading just about whatever I can get my hands on. I am a redhead, which really is its own sub-culture that people who aren't redheads never understand...

My personal dreams include traveling the world, becoming fluent in as many languages as possible, creating my own world (complete with peoples, cultures, and languages), becoming a wife and mother someday, living in a house in Colorado that I designed and built myself, working from home, and witnessing a few certain miracles...

Some of my hobbies are reading, conworlding, conlanging, drawing, thinking, digital painting, "photoshopping", and photography.

My current obsession is conworlding (which stands for constructed world-building). I'm working on the third of six (self-defined) steps in creating my own "world". I have already learned so much about biology, earth sciences, ecology, weather, etc., as I like to be very thorough in my research! After those 6 steps are completed, I will have a wonderful, solid base from which to write fantasy books, which is one of my life goals.
